Terms of use
Short version: our tools and videos teach money math. They are not financial advice, and you use them at your own risk.
What Dollar Math is
Dollar Math publishes educational videos, articles and spreadsheets about personal finance: debt payoff, budgeting and interest. Examples use hypothetical numbers. Results are estimates that assume a fixed interest rate and on-time payments.
Not financial advice
Nothing on this site, in our spreadsheets or on our channels is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Check important decisions with your lender or a licensed professional.
Products
Spreadsheets are sold and delivered through Gumroad, which handles payment, delivery and refunds under its own terms. A purchased template is for your personal use; please don't resell or share the copy link.
Our YouTube uploader
We use a small internal tool, Dollar Math Uploader, to upload our own videos to our own YouTube channel through the YouTube API Services. It is used only by the channel owner and is not offered to anyone else. By using it we agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. See our privacy page for how it handles data.
